Our Mission
Maryland Animal Rescue Foundation (MARF) is dedicated to improving the lives of dogs and placing them in a loving family environment. In addition, MARF is also dedicated to helping provide support to Maryland rescue organizations and others outside of Maryland as needed by helping to raise funds, promoting awareness, training, networking, and grant writing.
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters are interviewed to ensure a good home will be provided for the dog. Veterinarians and references are contacted and home checks (typically virtually) are performed. We require homes to provide proper vet care and meet all of the needs of the dog. In addition, we make sure the dog is the right fit for the adopter as sometimes the dog they want may not be the right fit for their home and family.
