Glennie (Glenn Coco)'s Story

If you’re looking for a dog who checks all the boxes, Glennie may just be your perfect match. This handsome boy has settled into foster care like he’s been there forever. He’s completely housebroken and hasn’t had a single accident. He sleeps peacefully through the night, loves to cuddle, and has fully embraced his favorite role in life: professional bed hog. His favorite sleeping position? Curled up right next to his people with his head resting on them. Glennie is incredibly affectionate, people-friendly, and eager to make new friends. When an unexpected visitor entered his foster home’s yard for the very first time, Glennie greeted him with a wagging tail, happy jumps, and the expectation of ear scratches and treats. No growling, no aggression—just a sweet boy excited to meet someone new. He’s also wonderfully easy to live with. Glennie isn’t a big barker, hasn’t destroyed anything in the home, and is content exploring the yard, lounging in bed, or carrying around his latest toy discovery. Speaking of toys... Glennie’s answer to “What’s your favorite toy?” is simply: all of them. Balls, Kongs, Benebones, bully sticks, chew toys, boomerangs—if it’s fun, Glennie is all in. This smart boy is highly motivated by treats, toys, and praise, making him a joy to interact with and train. He loves to play, loves to chew, loves to chase a ball, and loves being with his people. While he’s still taking introductions to other dogs slowly, Glennie has shown positive signs. He’s shared friendly fence-line interactions with neighboring Labs, complete with tail wags and playful curiosity. Glennie is eating well, exploring confidently, and proving every day what a truly special dog he is. Sweet, affectionate, housebroken, playful, well-mannered, and ridiculously cute—he’s the kind of dog who makes himself right at home in your heart. Glennie isn’t just a good dog. He’s a great dog. All that’s missing is a family of his own.
