Our Mission
A Purrfect JC is a Jersey City-based volunteer-operated nonprofit dedicated to reducing community cat overpopulation and improving animal welfare.
We serve the city's most underserved neighborhoods — particularly ZIP codes 07304 and 07305 — areas with some of the city's highest concentrations of low-income households. We stabilize feral and community cat colonies, provide veterinary care, and find permanent homes for abandoned, surrendered cats and kittens.
Adoption Policy
All adopters are required to complete an adoption application, finalize an adoption contract + remit an adoption fee.
