Our Mission
Wild Exotics Animal Refuge is a New Jersey 501(c)(3) non-profit foster based exotic pet-trade rescue. Our mission of compassion is to rescue animals from neglectful circumstances, and advocate for the elimination of exotic breeding mills.
Adoption Policy
Hey, thanks for considering rescue.
Our adoption process begins with an application to help us understand the adopter’s experience, and ability to provide proper care. Approved applicants are asked to share photos of their enclosure/setup to ensure the animal’s needs will be met. Once everything is reviewed, we schedule an adoption arrangement and finalize the adoption with a signed agreement.
We are foster-based, and do not have a public facility. Because of this, we meet adopters in comfortable public spaces. We will always do our best to make adopting from us as easy and safe as possible. We work in the best interest of the animals, and appreciate that you do, too.
Adoptions are permanent commitments, but animals must be returned to us if the placement does not work out.
