Boo's Story

Boo is a young ball python, a little less than a year old. Boo loves to cuddle up inside hides, and is content to sit in a warm dark place for quite literally any amount of time. The name Boo was chosen by a supporter that noticed the shape/design of the markings spelt out the word! <br/>Boo is currently experiencing some behavioral hiccups. He’s a bit spicy and is prone to striking. We are unsure if this has come from being mishandled in his past, as he can get very scared very easily. We are activity working with him, in terms of socialization and trial & error work. <br/>While we work with Boo, his listing remains up, in the case that an experienced snake caretaker / spicy snake caretaker is interested in adoption, once we are able to bring him to a more comfortable and sociable level.

Wild Exotics Animal Refuge's Adoption Policy
Hey, thanks for considering rescue. Our adoption process begins with an application to help us understand the adopter’s experience, and ability to provide proper care. Approved applicants are asked to share photos of their enclosure/setup to ensure the animal’s needs will be met. Once everything is reviewed, we schedule an adoption arrangement and finalize the adoption with a signed agreement. We are foster-based, and do not have a public facility. Because of this, we meet adopters in comfortable public spaces. We will always do our best to make adopting from us as easy and safe as possible. We work in the best interest of the animals, and appreciate that you do, too. Adoptions are permanent commitments, but animals must be returned to us if the placement does not work out.
