Chamomile's Story

ADOPT THIS MUPPET OF A LIZARD!
Will you be the one to love this goofy little dragon?

Apply - wearsaves.org

Chamomile is approximately five months old and tested positive for adenovirus (ADV). ADV is common in bearded dragons, and has become something that appears more often than not. As a younger dragon, Chamomile displayed some mild neurological signs. Those signs have gradually decreased, but still pop up here and there. Chamomile eats, explores, interacts and otherwise behaves like a happy, healthy young bearded dragon.

Because Chamomile had shown some neurological signs in the past that has since slowed, Chamomile may continue doing well for years, or they could develop additional medical needs as they grow. There is no way to know what their future will look like, we just know that we have one happy and healthy Beardie right now. Their eventual care could include vet check-ups, supportive treatment or, if their health declines, palliative and end-of-life care. Those last two are a big ‘if’, but a possibility that Chamomile’s future home must be mindful of.

Chamomile’s adopter must:

Be willing to look into an experienced exotic veterinarian

Be prepared for potential medical needs (this is important for all animals!)

Maintain mindful enclosure hygiene
Keep Chamomile separate from other bearded dragons as a safety precaution

We are looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate person who is ready to love a big goofy personality!

Chamomile is currently bright, active and enjoying life. They love to climb on their hammock and branches as well as their human. Chamomile enjoys snuggling under your chin while watching the world go by. They also enjoy a warm bath to swim around in.

They deserve the opportunity to experience that life in a devoted home of their own. If you believe you may be that person, please fill out an adoption application at wearsaves.org, or email us for more info at wearsaves@gmail.com

Chamomile’s adoption fee has been sponsored.
