Our Mission
Jet Wag Animal Rescue’s mission is to transport adoptable dogs and cats from high-risk areas to loving homes. We facilitate vet care, transport, and adoptions to help homeless animals find their forever families. We also support efforts to address animal overpopulation in the areas where we work.
Adoption Policy
All potential adopters have to fill out an adoption application and we conduct a background check, home check, and vet check. We then schedule a video call between the potential adopter and one of our volunteers where we conduct an interview and give them the opportunity to ask questions about the animal and the process. If all goes well with that, we schedule a meet and greet with the adopter (and any current pets) with the potential new pet. To finalize an adoption the adopter must sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Included in the adoption contract is the mandate that if they need to return / rehome their pet they must contact us immediately so we can work to find foster / adoption placement. We stay in close contact with all adopters after the adoption is completed.
