Bessie's Story

Bessie spent the first five years of her life living on a chain, but she has settled right in to the indoor life and she's such a good girl. She loves to snuggle on the couch and she's so sweet and affectionate. She is very dog friendly, good with people (including kids), well behaved, and truly a sweet sweet girl. Bessie is in Charlotte NC and is available for local adoption or she can be transported up the east coast for a fee.

Please fill out our application to get the process started: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1TXF09l3pR2lxqJozfKXfJ4TeisphHLm84nOOPmuIDys/edit

Jet Wag Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters have to fill out an adoption application and we conduct a background check, home check, and vet check. We then schedule a video call between the potential adopter and one of our volunteers where we conduct an interview and give them the opportunity to ask questions about the animal and the process. If all goes well with that, we schedule a meet and greet with the adopter (and any current pets) with the potential new pet. To finalize an adoption the adopter must sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Included in the adoption contract is the mandate that if they need to return / rehome their pet they must contact us immediately so we can work to find foster / adoption placement. We stay in close contact with all adopters after the adoption is completed.
