Our Mission
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was incorporated in 2001. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs, cats and even the occasional pig. We have placed over 20,000 animals over the last 23 years. We are a foster home based rescue and our dogs do not live in kennels or boarding facilities. We have an application, interview and adoption process. We place animals in No CA and So CA. Our applications are on our website at www.dpsrescue.com
Adoption Policy
To be considered for adoption, please first read the full biography of the animal you are interested in and then complete our adoption application at https://www.dpsrescue.com/adopt. IMPORTANT: You do NOT need to submit a Petfinder “Start Your Inquiry” form. Petfinder inquiries are NOT reviewed and will delay the adoption process. If we feel there may be a match, a member of our Interview Team will contact you. If we mutually agree to move forward, we will arrange a meeting. A $50 deposit (applied toward the adoption fee) is required to reserve the first opportunity to meet.
