Misty's Story

* All our available dogs will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, June 20th from 12-3 PM unless adopted prior to the event. To be considered for adoption before or at the event, please read the dog’s full biography to see whether they may be a good fit for your home, then submit an application.
Can't make it? Check our website after the event for available dogs.
All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.Misty, a 3 year old sweet and loyal tuxedo cat, found herself on DPS's doorstep after a magical whirlwind swept her away from her secret garden. Known for her playful antics and smart strategies, she navigated the city's rooftops until she spotted our Safehouse, a beacon of hope. She knew this was a place where she could share her love and loyalty until she found a forever home.
She was placed in one of our amazing foster homes and they recently sent us this update: 'When Misty first arrived, she was a little hesitant about us, she would greet us and would ask for pets but she would quickly set her boundaries if we tried picking her up. However, we have gained her trust, and she’s been very good with being picked up now. She loves attention and will call out to us as we’re walking by. She loves her scratcher and toys. We don’t know exactly how she would feel about other cats but based on her personality we think with time she will do fine with another cat if the intros are done gradually.'
Misty is more than just a cat; she's a heartwarming companion waiting to bring joy and enchantment to your life. Adopt Misty and let the magic begin!
She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150.
