Our Mission
Paw Posse Animal rescue is a passionate organization that is dedicated to creating a safe haven for homeless pets and those surrendered by their owners. Our mission is rooted in the desire to reduce animal homelessness and improve welfare through compassionate rescue efforts. We provide personalized care and focused attention, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each animal in our animal rescue. Our strong community connections are vital for developing sustainable solutions to animal rescue and rehabilitation, allowing us to meet the unique needs of every animal. Together, we are committed to building a brighter future for animals in need, fostering a compassionate approach that inspires hope and positive change within the community.
Adoption Policy
All potential adopters fill out an application. If we feel based off the application that they may be a good fit we do a phone interview. If that goes well we do a meet and greet. If there are other dogs involved they are included in the meet and greet. If that goes well we move to the home inspection. If they pass we can process the application.
Sometimes dogs don't mesh the first time meeting. We will set up additional meet and greets for the dogs. There may be things in their home that we ask them to change (storage box by a fence, lock on the gate, barrier at the front door). Once we verify these items repaired/in place we will approve the application.
We follow up with our adopters regularly. We ask for updated photos and help with any concerns they may be having.
