Ariel's Story

Meet Ariel!

Adoption fee $250

Ariel came to us with her three newborn puppies. She had given birth under a trailer. Our volunteer was able to convince the owner to surrender her to us. He wasn't able to buy food for her let alone give her shelter.

Ariel has been at her foster mom's home. Her puppies are heading off to their forever homes. It's now time for Ariel to find her forever home. Let us start by saying Ariel is a chihuahua. She has chihuahua attitude and a temper! She lives with big and little dogs. She prefers the small dogs. She will get in the big dogs faces and tries to be the boss. We prefer she goes to a home with only small dogs or no dogs at all. She is not a stage four clinger. She is independent but will come to sit with you if she feels like it HA HA! She is barky so no apartments please. Ariel likes to play and her play is pretty rough. If you have another dog they will need to be close in age. She is ADORABLE! Look at those ears!

Ariel is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and 4DX (tick/heartworm test) negative.

Ariel is approximately 2 years old and weighs approx 8 pounds.

To meet Ariel, please fill out the application https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAWP/Dog

Paw Posse Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters fill out an application. If we feel based off the application that they may be a good fit we do a phone interview. If that goes well we do a meet and greet. If there are other dogs involved they are included in the meet and greet. If that goes well we move to the home inspection. If they pass we can process the application. Sometimes dogs don't mesh the first time meeting. We will set up additional meet and greets for the dogs. There may be things in their home that we ask them to change (storage box by a fence, lock on the gate, barrier at the front door). Once we verify these items repaired/in place we will approve the application. We follow up with our adopters regularly. We ask for updated photos and help with any concerns they may be having.
