Starsky's Story

Meet Starsky!

Adoption fee $500

Starsky and his brother Hutch were surrendered by their family when the backyard breeding became to much. We were told that they are pure bred Red Dobermans. Dad got loose and was hit by a car and killed. They have been living in a yard with dog food scattered around the yard. The family didn't even have the decency to put it in a bowl for them.

Starsky is playful. The only effect his living conditions seemed to have on him are being a little shy. Once he builds his confidence he will be the perfect package! He is so darn cute too!

Starsky is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped.

Starsky is approximately 4.5-5 months old and weighs approx. 33 pounds.

To meet Starsky, please fill out the application https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAWP/Dog

Paw Posse Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters fill out an application. If we feel based off the application that they may be a good fit we do a phone interview. If that goes well we do a meet and greet. If there are other dogs involved they are included in the meet and greet. If that goes well we move to the home inspection. If they pass we can process the application. Sometimes dogs don't mesh the first time meeting. We will set up additional meet and greets for the dogs. There may be things in their home that we ask them to change (storage box by a fence, lock on the gate, barrier at the front door). Once we verify these items repaired/in place we will approve the application. We follow up with our adopters regularly. We ask for updated photos and help with any concerns they may be having.
