Toby's Story
Little Toby has come to town! His owner died in NC and he was left with a relative who kept him outside, so naturally he needs a home now where he will be an indoor pet. However, Toby does love to run and play in the backyard! He loves other dogs and seems to be okay with cats, too, but one cat does not like Toby.

He's had to endure a lot of changes in his life so he will need time to decompress in any new environment. Toby does not like to go in his crate but once he's in, he seems very content. He's very quiet. His current foster has never heard him bark. He walks well on a leash and loves to go for a walk! He is also a perfect passenger in a vehicle.

Toby's physical stats: The dog scanner lists him as a combination wire-haired fox terrier and Norfolk terrier. He is 13 pounds, 2 years old, fully vaccinated, 4DX negative and will be neutered as soon as we can get him an appointment.

Toby is a great little companion. He just needs someone with time and patience to help him feel comfortable and he will warm right up. Since he was apparently not around children in his past life, we recommend an adult home for him at this point.
