She enjoys indoor zoomies and entertaining herself, then happily snuggles up with her family.
During a recent short foster stay, she quickly settled in and slept beside her new caregivers. When completely alone, she becomes anxious and may bark repeatedly.
A multidog home is strongly preferred. An only-dog placement would require substantial human availability and gradual alone-time training.
Choose a companion who enjoys play and can share human attention. Introduce unfamiliar dogs at her pace; she may retreat or become defensive if overwhelmed or cornered.

PEOPLE AND CHILDREN
Calm greetings and time to approach on her own help Soy warm up. Loud voices, large gestures, and rushed handling can make her wary.
Avoid picking her up or holding her when she wants space. During excited play, she may mouth hands or tug sleeves but generally settles with calm redirection.
Children: Experience is limited. Very young children who may grab or move unpredictably are not her best match.

CATS AND SMALL ANIMALS
Soy reportedly lived comfortably with a cat during her recent foster stay. A home with cats may be considered with careful introductions and supervision.
Outdoors, she may become excited and try to follow birds, cats, or other small animals. Her foster reports that she responds to a clear verbal cue and resumes walking.

HOME HABITS
House Training: Prefers going outdoors and reliably uses indoor potty pads when home for longer periods. She is not exclusively outdoor-trained.
Chewing: Much reduced as she has matured. Occasionally mouths furniture edges or carries off slippers and shoes.
Barking: May bark briefly to invite play or in response to outside sounds.
Crate: Not fully crate-trained yet; currently goes in for treats.

WALKS AND PLAY
Routine: Two walks of at least 30 minutes each, plus potty breaks and play.
Leash Manners: Usually walks well, checks in through eye contact, and wants to greet passing dogs.
Favorite Activities: Running, tug, balls, and interactive play.
Safety: May pick up discarded food or bones and startle at sudden noises or movements. Secure walking equipment and attentive handling are important.

HEALTH AND DAILY CARE
Current Health: Her foster reports she is healthy, strong, and muscular.
Allergies: None known.
Parasite Prevention: NexGard on the third of each month, year-round, including winter.
Car Rides: No motion sickness currently reported.
Bathing and Toothbrushing: Dislikes both but accepts them without much resistance.
Cold Weather: Gets cold easily because of her short coat.
Eating Habits: Eats enthusiastically and quickly. Measured portions and weight monitoring are important.

RESCUE STORY
Soy was rescued from an overcrowded municipal kill shelter in Incheon, South Korea. With care and affection from her foster family, she has grown into a playful, loving young dog. Now she is waiting for a family of her own.
