We’re so excited to introduce you to Rodney one of the wonderful dogs we recently rescued from a home with many pups! He came from a breeder who specialized in poodles, schnauzers, and yorkies but was unable to keep all her dogs. Now, Rodney is ready for a fresh start and a loving family.<br/><br/>Rodney is about 1 year old and absolutely bursting with energy! He gets along famously with other dogs and people alike. While we haven’t yet seen how he does with children, we do know he appears housebroken and loves going on walks. One thing to note: Rodney can be what we call a “door darter” — he tends to bolt if a door opens unexpectedly. Because of this, we’re only considering adopters who have a secure, fenced yard where he can safely play and explore.<br/><br/>He’s been fully vetted, will be neutered, and is up-to-date on all his shots including heartworm testing, rabies, and distemper. Rodney also gets along well with the other foster dogs. <br/><br/>We’re looking for someone patient and loving who will work with him on his escape tendencies while providing a safe environment.
