She is a spayed female...maybe greyhound mix (she has that boxer bounce, but the greyhound slender body).<br/><br/>Miss Kanga is ready to be your running partner, help you tone your arms...she loves fetch & retrieve and tug-of-war, and work on your legs...she loves romping with her human (s)...and has refined her ducks & swerves! Youll be all set for the beach!<br/><br/>Miss Kanga can be quite comical at times...loves pick-pocketing just about anything out of your pockets...and with her many different ears, she will keep you laughing! She fine being the only dog, and is perfectly content to amuse herself...but also plays well with other dogs of all sizes. She will also come and cuddle/ give kisses to her you too.<br/><br/>Miss Kanga is house and crate trained. She sleeps quietly in her crate all night., and when youre not home. She knows basic commands, and walks on a leash. She enjoys outings, and can be excited with each adventure, but then settles down, and will find a toy to chew on. All potential adoptive parents must fill out an adoption application, have a home inspection (dogs only) and a vet reference. We take great pride in finding good homes for our stray and abandoned companion pet friends. All pet adoptions include, up-to-date shots, heartworm checked (dogs), FELV/FIV checked (cats), dewormed, vaccinations for age at time of adoption, have monthly flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention (dogs) and microchip (inserted or provided) Half Way Home Animal Rescue DOES NOT have a shelter; all animals are awaiting their forever homes in loving foster care. By having pets in foster care, we are able to get a jump start on training, learn their unique personalities and ensure they are a perfect match for you! Once you have submitted your application to us via email. If approved, we will arrange for a private meeting between you and the pet. When meeting a pet we also offer you the opportunity to ask fosters and volunteers questions in order to get to know the pet and be sure this will be a great fit for everyone.
