Mike's Story

Mike came to us with his brother, Ike, after being dumped at a rural Animal Control. They didn't have space for two large dogs, so they were going to euthanized if a rescue couldn't be found. They absolutely didn't want that to happen, so they reached out and we were happy to take them. I'm so glad we did, because they are the sweetest dogs you could ever hope to meet!
Mike is approximately 1-1/2 years old, a huge cuddle bug, and seems to do well with everyone he meets. He's just a very happy boy.
I think he and his brother were outside dogs because they were unsure about being in a house. However, they haven't had a single accident in the house or in their large, outside kennel and shelter. They also haven't torn anything up, including dog beds or toys. Both boys are just about perfect!
Mike is starting to put on a little weight but could still use a few more pounds. He's currently 89 lbs. Mike is heartworm negative, microchipped, neutered, and current on vaccinations. He is ready to meet you and find his perfect forever home!
If you are interested in Mike, please reach out and we will send you an application.
Adoption fee is $400.
