VIP: Mario is about 16 months of age. He went on a visit to a local office for the day and did great! Once he explores his surroundings he will lay down calmly at your feet. He was very well behaved and had several naps after meeting everyone. Mario seems to know the command to sit and seems to be housetrained. He is a Bull Terrier-Husky mix who enjoys getting pets and sings like a Husky. Mario went on a group dog walk to a local garden park along with other dogs from the shelter. While waiting to go on the walk, he sat in a chair waiting patiently. On the walk, he demonstrated both calmness and excitement. He was very friendly with the people in the garden and graciously accepted pets. On the water break, he laid down and wanted belly rubs. Mario was friendly and unbothered by the other dogs in the group. He is heartworm positive, but his treatment has been sponsored for his adopter.
