Louis 's Story

Louis: From Wildfire Survivor to Your New Best Friend

Louis is a resilient 2 year old Jindo mix weighing 12 kg. Rescued from the aftermath of the Andong wildfires, he was once left tied to a cement floor and eventually abandoned when his owners acquired a more expensive dog. Today he is a confident, affectionate, and vibrant companion ready for his forever chapter.

✈️ How to Adopt and Transport Details
A complete written adoption application must be submitted first.

📌Apply here: https://forms.gle/UmpfbgmydH7igSdN7

📌All approved adopters begin with a two week trial and monitoring period to ensure a safe, thoughtful, and long term match.

📌Louis will fly to the US once a suitable family is found through our vetting process. He is overall healthy with no known medical conditions. He currently eats Monge Monoprotein rabbit formula. The adoption fee is $650, which includes his neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, veterinary exam before travel, international health certificate, and international flight transport.

🌸 Personality and Social Life
Louis is exceptionally friendly and social. He approaches new people right away, leans in for pets, and will happily roll over for belly rubs. He gets along well with both large and small dogs, greeting politely and moving on. He shows little to no interest in cats, even when encountering them on walks.

🏡 Home Life and Routine
At home he is surprisingly calm, non destructive, and has zero separation anxiety. He can be left alone for 8 to 9 hours on weekdays and typically rests quietly. He is fully outdoor potty trained. Outside he becomes an active adventure buddy who loves his two daily walks. He is composed in city environments, rides calmly in the car, and is highly food motivated, making training easy.

See more of our adoption testimonials at our Facebook and Instagram pages @neveralonerescue
