Lady Gaga a Local Dog, easgoing and affectionate's Story

Lady Gaga is a 4 year old 75 pound (plump!) Poodle mix, with a great, loving, and affectionate personality. She gets along with everyone nice. Kids, dogs, even dog savvy cats.

Lady is fostered in Oregon City, Oregon, soon to move to a NE Portland foster home.

This gal is house trained, leash trained and rides nicely in the car. She stays home loose without any problem. She will also make a great activity, travel, and out on the town companion.

She is not accustomed to spending long hours home alone, so we will seek a home where she has company more often than not. She is currently stays home alone for several hours on her own, and she can probably work up to more hours. She is non-destructive and behaves fine when left alone.

Lady is vaccinated, de-wormed, DNA tested, micro-chipped and has had a recent dental. She comes with her belongings: bed, toys, leash, collar, the remainder of her food. Her adoption fee is $400.

A great home for Lady Gaga and her must haves include:

1. An owned home with a securely fenced yard.
2. Ideally, adopters not gone long hours, Lady is used to having people around, and though non-destructive and fine alone, she to be with people more than not.
3. Active folks who take their dog on daily walks and who can handle a large dog on leash. Lady would be at her healthiest and most agile if she lost about 10 pounds, and so we want that for her.
4. People who believe in good nutrition and vet care, and who know and are prepared for the cost of grooming.

If you are interested in Lady Gaga, fill out the application now using the following link: We will call you promptly if we think you could be a good match.

https://forms.gle/YN3bZmza2njh61jLA

You may also inquire by emailing woofovermyhead@gmail.com. A Woof Over My Head's Adoption Policy
Interested folks email us, telling us a bit about yourself and how the dog will fit into your life. Ideally, please leave a phone number and email. We will get in touch with you, either to chat first, or to send an application. If your application looks great, we'll check in, and your references are called. If it seems a great match, a meet is arranged, usually at potential adopters home/yard to allow for home inspection (home inspection via video of public areas of your home during Covid-19). Adoptions that are a match often, but not always, happen at the meet: the adoption contract is discussed, signed and the adoption donation is paid. You will receive records via email and usually, a set of "operating instructions" specific to the dog you have adopted. Each dog is sent off with a harness or martingale collar and enough food to get started. You supply an ID tag with one or two phone numbers, and a non-retractable leash. We check in several times after adoption, and we are always available for questions or updates and photos!
