****We are Pets Are Worth Saving (P.A.W.S) – Stephenville, TX - We are a small, foster based animal rescue, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, based out of Stephenville, TX. We work to rehabilitate and rehome unwanted cats and dogs in Stephenville and surrounding towns. We have recently expanded our scope to include Hamilton County, TX and are currently working with the City of Hamilton and the Hico Police Department to find loving foster and permanent homes for dogs that have been abandoned and have ended up in the Hamilton Pound or the Hico Animal Shelter. <br/> Pets Are Worth Saving (P.A.W.S.)’s mission is to sponsor low cost spay/neuter and wellness exams, provide community education and provide food and supplies to those in need. We also do our best to find loving homes for abandoned, neglected, or abused animals. Our animals are vaccinated and on preventatives. Look no further than Hank. <br/><br/>Meet Hank! <br/>Hank is an 8 years old, 112 lbs., neutered male Aussie/Husky mix. Because of his large size and broad back, we lovingly refer to him as a walking ottoman. Yes, he could stand to lose a few pounds; couldn't we all? Hank had to have one of his eyes removed but seems to see and get around just fine. <br/><br/>He’s been great with all the dogs he’s met, loves people, and is the epitome of a gentle giant. Hank is housebroken and does well on leash. He seems to truly enjoy morning walks in the park. Hank likes to let us know when he sees another dog whom he'd like to play with, by making happy noises that almost sound like a monkey chattering. It's very amusing.<br/><br/>Hank is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and on preventatives.
