Gia's Story

Gia, born 4/4/21, is a Labrador/possible Wolfhound mix and weighs 37 lbs . She was an owner surrender. Her owner could not keep her due to finances. Gia is a happy girl, she likes everyone she meets. Very sweet! Loves other dogs, is ok with cats, and has been around kids. <br/><br/>She is in the cell dog training program working on basic commands. <br/><br/>The adoption fee covers the spay, microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) dewormings and heartworm/lyme testing. All of our animals are located in local foster homes. You can apply for an animal on our website at www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org.  We review applications and contact approved adopters to arrange a meet and greet.  Because we are 100% volunteer and foster based, this streamlines the process for our volunteers.
