Shes loving life and all the attention by anyone and everyone in her foster home. Such a lover!! Here is an update:

Fria has been with us for a few weeks, and it's hard to believe this sweet, outgoing little girl spent her life as a breeding dog. She absolutely loves people and has quickly discovered all the wonderful things about living in a home—especially soft furniture, snuggles, and sleeping in the human bed! She is affectionate, curious, and just an incredibly loving little dog.

Potty training: Fria has had zero accidents in the house for the past week, and even during her first week with us, accidents were minimal.

Personality: She is sweet, friendly, outgoing, curious, and loves people. She really doesn't act like you might expect an ex-puppy-farm breeding dog to act.

Champion snuggler: Fria wants to be a lap dog! Shell crawl right onto your lap, snuggle in, and practically melt into you.

Home comforts: She LOVES soft couches, chairs, and beds, and after likely spending much of her previous life in a cage, who can blame her?

Other dogs: She gets along very well with our three dogs and enjoys their company. We think she could also be happy as an only dog as long as she gets plenty of love and attention from her people.

Home alone: She does very well when left home alone. She simply curls up in a comfortable chair and takes a nap.

Sleeping: Fria very much loves sleeping in the human bed with us. She settles in and sleeps quietly through the night.

Play & exploring: She enjoys playing with toys and exploring the yard.

Leash walking: She is learning to walk on a leash and is making great progress.
Car rides: She does well riding in the car.
Grooming: We recently took her to the groomer. She was frightened initially but found comfort in having one of our dogs there with her and did well.

Her leg: Fria has an orthopedic issue affecting her right rear leg. Her right knee has no normal movement. Despite all of that, Fria gets around remarkably well. She runs, explores, and even jumps onto furniture. She is currently taking a joint supplement for long-term joint support.

Most importantly: Fria is simply the sweetest, most loving little girl. She has embraced home life beautifully and has so much affection to give.

To learn more about what to expect from a breeder-release dog, please read our Breeder Release article on our Resources page before applying. Understanding her background will help ensure a successful transition for both Fria and her future family.

Fostered in Apple River, IL

See more on her facebook page: Pawsitive Pals Foster

Apply at fluffydog.net for sweet Fria!!

DATCP 270548

ADOPTION FEE: $650

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION at fluffydog.net

Adopters must be 24 years of age.
