Diva 's Story

🐾 Meet Diva – A Gentle Heart Ready to Bloom

Diva is a beautiful young Potcake from Saint Lucia, and like many island dogs, she carries a quiet strength and loyalty that makes this breed so special. Potcakes are known for their deep devotion to their people, their gentle nature, and their ability to form incredible bonds with the families who love them.

Diva is still very much a puppy at heart. At about 8 months old and 30 pounds, she is continuing to grow and will likely reach 20–40 pounds when fully grown. She has a wonderful balance of curiosity and sweetness, and she’s eager to learn about the world around her.

Diva’s early life was not easy. During the first months of her life, she was confined to a small box before finally being rescued. Because of that difficult beginning, she is still learning what it means to feel safe and secure. Each day she discovers something new — that meals arrive regularly, that gentle hands offer comfort, and that kindness is something she can trust.

Despite her past, Diva’s gentle spirit continues to shine.

She enjoys being close to the people she trusts and forms deep, meaningful bonds with her caregivers. Once she feels safe, her affectionate side comes through beautifully, and she becomes a loving, loyal companion who simply wants to be near her family.

Diva thrives with companionship and will do best in a home where she can be included as part of daily life and given the time she needs to continue building confidence.

✨ Diva’s Highlights:
🐾 Mixed-breed Potcake from Saint Lucia
🐾 About 8 months old
🐾 Currently 30 lbs., expected to grow to 20–40 lbs
🐾 Walks beautifully on leash
🐾 House trained
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Learning to sit politely for treats and meals
🐾 Loves men, women, and children
🐾 Great with other dogs
🐾 Respectful around cats
🐾 Social, affectionate, and friendly

🏡 The Perfect Home for Diva

Diva will flourish in a patient, loving home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace.
