Bruno Project Rescue, Inc.

Working in tandem with Bruno Project St. Lucia and the St. Lucia Animal Protection Society shelter, we are a passionate group of volunteers committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming the animals of Saint Lucia. On the island, many Caribbean Potcakes face abuse, starvation, injury, and neglect in the absence of strong animal protection laws. Dogs are often left to survive on their own, vulnerable to harm and suffering. In response, dedicated local volunteers work tirelessly—day and night—to feed, rescue, and foster these animals, often opening their own homes to provide safety and care. With support from volunteers in the United States, funds are raised to transport these dogs to foster homes along the East Coast and Colorado, giving them a second chance. Potcakes are loyal, intelligent, and resilient dogs who quickly adapt to loving homes. We believe every animal deserves a chance at life—and we are committed to making that possible.
