___________
We think Chip is a Pomeranian/ Spitz mix. He is a " low rider" weighing 42 pounds and vets estimate his age to be around 2 years.
Chip's fluffy tail never stops wagging! He is a very happy boy, loves his walks, food and attention. He has learned decent leash manners, but can be strong if a squirrel crosses his path!
Chip is ok with most dogs, but he would be happy as an only dog. He is confident, however he seems to be full of partially deaf, so we are requiring a fenced yard for his safety (or that he never be off leash). For this reason, we also feel a home without small children who might startle him while sleeping, etc. would be best.
Chip is unique and fun to be around - guaranteed to make you smile! He is being treated for heartworm disease at the rescue's expense but is expected to fully recover.
Chip is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Our $250 adoption fee covers these expenses.
