Chewee Keeshond & Chow Chow Mix Racine, WI

Chewee is only about 40 pounds of "I sure like you a lot". He seems to be a Keeshound, Chow, Beagle, Shepherd mix but of course without a DNA it's anyones guess. He is quiet, affectionate and has a happy waggy tail. He is reported to be good with other dogs but is not at all impressed with Geo. Maybe they are half brothers and sibling rivalry is an issue.  He rides well in the car, walks well on a leash and we'll see in a few days if he really is a chewey, or if he was named after chewbacca.


All dogs are in foster care and are not located in our office. If you are interested in adoption, you will need to fill out an application which can be found on our website www.hopesafehouse.org The application can be e-mailed, faxed , snail mailed or dropped at our office during regular business hours ( Monday through Thursday, Noon to 6pm, Friday - Noon to 2:30pm.


Adoption fee for all canines is $88.00. There is also mandatory training classes of which Hope pays $75.00 towards. You will be required to leave a $75.00 deposit for training at time of adoption. This deposit is 100% refundable after completing a basic obedience class.
