Brownie's Story
Brownie is a sweet, resilient soul who was rescued from a municipal high-kill shelter in Korea just moments before scheduled euthanasia. This affectionate boy is ready to find his forever family in the States! He is eligible to fly into JFK as early as March 5th, and we can provide transportation further East for the right match.

🐶 The Basics
Age: Approximately 6 months old
Gender: Male (Neutered)
Weight: About 20 lbs (9 kg)
Energy Level: Moderate — he is playful and energetic when it’s time for fun but knows how to settle down and relax.
Follow Brownie's life in photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/nrQDkUdFi1aYe6JXA

🐾 Personality and Social Life
Human Lover: Brownie absolutely loves people! He is friendly toward men, women, and children. While he’s a social butterfly who greets everyone on walks, he’s also a "Velcro dog" who loves sleeping in bed with his humans.
Kid-Friendly: He enjoys the company of children. Because he is still a puppy and sometimes exhibits playful "mouthing," he would do best with older children (upper elementary age) who can help with his ongoing training.
Dog-Friendly: Brownie gets along with dogs of all sizes. He is very respectful and even shows his belly to smaller dogs during play. He would love a home with another canine sibling to keep him company.
Cats: He hasn't met any cats yet, so his reaction is unknown.

🏥 Health and Training
Health: Brownie is a Parvo survivor and is now fully healthy and up-to-date on all care.
Potty Training: He is 100% outdoor potty trained.
Walks: He loves his daily walks (at least 1 hour). While he can be a bit of a "puller" at the start of a walk, he is currently in training and making great progress.
Crate/Kennel: He is still learning to love his kennel and will need a patient family to continue his crate training.
Car Rides: Brownie experiences some motion sickness on longer rides, but he is improving and settles down once he finds a comfy spot.

🏡 Ideal Home
Brownie would thrive in a home where he isn't left alone for long periods, as he truly loves companionship. A family that enjoys active play—like fetch, tug-of-war, or even frisbee—would be his dream come true.

📝 Adoption Details
Trial Period: To ensure a perfect match, all approved applicants participate in a two-week trial and monitoring period to ensure the match and long-term commitment.
Adoption Fee: $650. This covers his neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, vet exams, health certificate, and international transport.
Rescue Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/neveralonerescue

Ready to bring Brownie home?
