This small pitty mix makes us laugh daily! <br/><br/>Maybe you saw little AL on the LOST West Milford Pets FB page last year in the Fall? He was brought to our shelter as a starving stray. At approx 8 months old, (per our Vet's guestimate) back then, now in Spring, he's a little over a year old. He's fun, energetic, smart and enjoys learning. AL needs to be adopted as your only pet. He can be adopted to a family with kids 10+ years old. <br/><br/>This adorable pup needs someone who will spend the time to get him house trained and in a routine. He is smart and wants to learn. He is eager, and treat orientated which is a great advantage. He is learns commands quickly. Al was adopted in Oct. (we thought he was ok with other dogs) however, came back because he did not get along with the owners dog over food and toys. We will adopt him as your only pet. <br/><br/>AL needs daily structure, exercise and training. He will need to be house broken. Are you up to the challenge to work with and love AL? He truly is worth it; all of the volunteers love him! If you are active and want to bring home a young active terrier, AL is your boy! We offer a free session with our trainer, Canine Cooperative, after an adoption is finalized. So don't forget to ask! <br/><br/>Stop by to fill out an adoption application and spend as much time as you like with our dogs. We do not adopt first come; we always select the best placement for our animals. Please call your veterinarian to permit them to speak with us for our vet check. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you are allowed to have a dog. We offer a free session with our trainer, Canine Cooperative, once an adoption is finalized.<br/> <br/>Our adoption fee is $150 for dogs. This includes heartworm and Lyme testing, flea/tick preventatives, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines, and spay/neuter if six months or older.
