Max was an unexpected find for me on a Wednesday night. I periodically just like to look at pets that are up for adoption and it had been a few years since I lost my last dog to kidney disease. When I spotted the picture of Max I was smitten and it was love at first sight... I just knew he was to be my dog and there has never been a day I have doubted bringing him home. Max is a miniature Schnauzer that has been nothing, but pure love and joy. He came to me at a time in my life when great change was taking place and I was struggling with anxiety. He was better than any pill that could have been prescribed for me. I have never had a dog that is so personable and intelligent. He was a joy to train and a great distraction from the day to day stress I had been feeling. When I look at Max I see a gift from God that knew just what I needed. I love him so much and who would have thought a gray little fuzzy puppy could make life so grand. Love you Maxie Bear... You are a gift from above. This is Max with my daughter Danielle.
