I adopted Pluto (formerly Jack) from Longmont Humane Society on 5/2/97 when he was 11 weeks old. He is now 16 and has been (and still is) the best cat ever. Period.
This little man had been returned to the shelter from a previous adopter because he allegedly would not use his box. This turned out to be their loss and my gain because Pluto is the most fastidious cat ever and not once has he ever missed his box. He is truly the cat with no bad habits.
Pluto lives with four other cats, including another 16 year old, Comet who has been his trusted friend for 15 years. Another one of my cats, Diesel, is also a big fan of Pluto and Comet, Pluto and Diesel sleep in a cat pile every day!
Pluto still plays with his fuzzy puffballs every morning and sleeps with me every night. He's a little thinner these days and does have kidney disease, but he is greatly enjoying his senior years with his friends and his Mom (me).
