I am disabled, and spend much of my time home alone, and was getting pretty lonely. We found KittehKitteh (then named Betty Boop) at KHS. She was only two months old, playful and talkative, but we didn't notice until we were in the meet & greet room that her tail is pretty much consistently cocked at a 90 degree angle to the right. The shelter said that she may have had an injury, but that it wasn't affecting her in any way, and may only affect her balance later in life. It certainly hasn't slowed her down, and it's quite funny to see her sassy side-tailed walk as she stalks her prey- her favorite being sparkly cotton ball toys and empty toilet paper tubes filled with treats.
