Penny - A Petfinder Happy Tail
Penny - posted 12/20/2009
From Kathleen of Hillside, IL
We adopted Penny from Oak Park Animal Care League in October of 2008. Penny is such a good dog, and we feel very grateful to have found her. She is very good-natured, eager to please, and is friendly to all animals and people. She rarely barks and never has accidents in our home. At first, little Penny suffered from separation anxiety and we called her "Houdini" because she was always able to escape her crate. However, she quickly realized that we would never leave her for long and her separation anxiety disappeared. We stopped putting her in her crate as soon as we realized that she could be trusted, and she enjoys having the run of the house. We are so lucky to have found Penny. She has completed our family and we can't imagine a life without her.
