Estimated birth date: 10/1/2020
Personality: Friendly toward humans, Friendly toward other animals, Cuddly, Chatty, Playful, Energetic, Enjoys being held, Readily allows you to pick it up, Sweet
Favorite treats: Anything. He is not a picky eater and will try almost any fruit or veggie given to him. It’s hard to give a favorite… maybe carrots. Maybe parsley. He loves it all!!
Favorite toys and activities: Laying in his newly discover favorite beehive. He also likes to tell you when it’s time to eat and if you didn’t listen, he will yell!
Potty trained: No
This animal’s daily routine: They get their cage spot cleaned twice a day (am & pm) and he will get his veggies in the morning and evening. He is used to get a vitamin c tablet before bed
BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Yes! Winch is bonded to his brother Bolt!
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Dogs and doesn’t seem to react, other then when they bark. It’s loud so he hides but other then that, he likes to come out of his hut and see what the dogs are doing.
Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Winch has not been exposed to children

Other notes: Winch is probably the sweetest pig I have met. He is so easy going. He will easily let you pick him and just cuddle on your lap for hours. He likes to feel safe and loves cuddle sack type huts. When he is cuddling on a couch, I like to partially cover him with a blanket and he really seems to enjoy it.
Bolt & Winch came to MNPPR when their owners were unable to provide care.
Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Winch’s foster parent prefers to meet at the PetSmart - 3589 River Rapids Dr, Minneapolis, MN 55448 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
Fee: Bolt & Winch have a combined adoption fee of $40
