Meet Sabian and Abadir
Abadir and Sabian are a pair of 10-month-old gerbils that were given up due to the owner no longer having space for them. They are very cute and active and enjoy their exercise wheel. Gerbils can make great pets for gentle children.
According to the Humane Society of the United States, "Although gerbils are fairly independent and can entertain themselves for extended periods of time, a happy, well-adjusted gerbil is one who receives daily handling and interaction."
