Meet Degus!

Well ... we never know what the next phone call will bring but this one was certainly a surprise and a new adventure for Happy Tails. We recently took in 5 Degus who are all brother probably about a year old. These funny and active little critters need lots of attention and a large enclosure with lots of things to chew to keep them happy and occupied. They take a little time to get used to new people but once they are comfortable they are very friendly. Degus are social creatures and need to be adopted in pairs or trios.
