Boots Guinea Pig Abyssinian Eau Claire, WI

Boots was sadly surrendered to the shelter on 06/13/18 as a member of her human family developed allergies to her. Boots is a wonderful female Abyssinian with a beautiful coat. Like most guinea pigs, she is a bit shy about being picked up, but loves to be held and petted gently as she relaxes in your arms or on your lap. She also enjoys being talked to and loves to talk back to you with cute little wheeking noises. Boots will run to hide in her house when she hears loud noises, but gladly comes back out when it's quiet again. Boots is fine with strangers and wouldn't mind a home with older gentle children. She is such a delight to watch as she scampers around doing her best to entertain everyone, and will be a fantastic companion for a first time guinea pig owner or the experienced guinea pig fancier. She is a little shy and will do best in a home that will hold her often to keep her well socialized and will give her time out of her cage to entertain you and have fun exploring. She is a beautiful girl that would love to become your new best friend.
