Favorite toys and activities: Playing with small toys, chasing a feather, playing in tube, playing with Toulouse.

Potty trained: Uses litter box in cage, but when outside of cage has a few accidents.

This animal daily routine: Berlioz doesn’t really have a routine. He always likes to be with Toulouse. Medical routine is in the morning and night with small treat after each time.

BFF (Does this animal have or need a same species friend in their home?): Yes! Berlioz is bonded to Toulouse

Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Has not been exposed to children

Health concerns: Berlioz is a special needs ferret & should be adopted by an experienced ferret owner. He receives Prednisone daily for insulinoma & yearly adrenal implants for adrenal disease. His weight should also be monitored weekly.

Behavioral concerns: None

Other notes: During time outside cage he may need to use the bathroom. He will back up and get low, his foster is able to pick him up and get him back in the cage in time. When it’s time for play time Toulouse comes out first and let Berlioz come out when he’s awake and ready.

Berlioz & Toulouse made their way to MNPPR after being found outside. They were soon transferred from animal control to our care.

Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. Berlioz’s foster parent prefers to meet at the PetSmart in Woodbury 8460 Tamarack Village, Woodbury, MN, 55125 for meet & greets, & adoptions.

Fee: Berlioz & Toulouse have a combined adoption fee of $175

Due to health and safety concerns, we are now pursuing adoptions with additional safety measures in place. We will be asking potential adopters to discuss their individual preferences and comfort levels involving safety precautions during the greeting/adoption day step. We are HIGHLY suggesting all participants wear facial coverings, stay at least six feet apart, & use sanitization of all surfaces, and hands before and after contact.
