Meet Hunter
Hi, my name is Hunter! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Curious, Confident, Tolerant of Handling
-Lifespan: 20 - 30 years on average - I'm a long term commitment!
-Can live with kids: Yes, snake-savvy, responsible kids ages 13+. Children should not be my primary caregiver.
-Experienced snake home: Preference given to homes with previous snake experience, but I can be your first snake as long as you can demonstrate species knowledge to your adoption counselor. If you are interested in me, do your research!
-Can live with other snakes: No - ball pythons are safest when housed individually.
-Bite History: None
-Additional information: Ball pythons require a roomy habitat (minimum size 36" long by 18" wide) with species-appropriate temperature and humidity, controlled electronically, and hides on the hot and cool side of their enclosure. Fortunately, Hunter comes well-started with a complete tank setup! He has successfully been eating frozen-thawed feeders his whole life and reportedly sheds well when his humidity is adequately maintained. If you are interested in adopting Hunter and can support his highly specialized care requirements, submit an adoption application to begin the process.
