Meet Ava
Enjoy our video capturing something you've never quite seen (or heard) before! Poor Ava was declawed and now has the most unique way of locomotion that is all her own. She lifts her paws up in, somewhat in the form of a trotting horse, but much more slowly and gentle, and it makes a percussive sound on her foster's wood floors.
Ava is a delightful character – mellow but feisty, playful yet peaceful, loving and affectionate yet independent.
Ava was taken in by Tucson CARES as a stray, declawed cat living among a small feral colony. She is happy to be back experiencing the comforts of a home and indoor living.
