Our Mission
Our Mission at HSMC is to provide food, shelter and community support for the homeless cats and dogs. We are a 501c3 nonprofit no-kill animal shelter established in 1978 and receive no funding from state or county. HSMC relies on private donations, fundraisers and grants to carry us forward year after year. We work with the public and other adoption, rescue agencies to find forever homes for our shelter animals. Our vision is to be the leaders in transforming the lives of community animals, pets and help the people who care for them.
