Our Mission
Hound Education & Rescue Operations, aka Hero Hound Rescue, is a 501c3 nonprofit dog rescue dedicated to saving hound lives in the Southern US through vet care, education & lots of love.
Adoption Policy
All potential adopters must fill out our Hero Hound Application/Adoption Contract which includes a current vet reference and three personal references. Adopters must be open to participating in a call (video call preferred) to verify information on application. All adopters and their pets must meet interested dog prior to adoption. All dogs have a 2 week trial adoption period.
