Ninth Life Rescue Center

Based in Greensburg, and serving the Westmoreland, Fayette and Allegheny county region, Ninth Life Rescue Center is a 501c(3) nonprofit, no-kill, all volunteer, foster-based rescue. We are always fundraising for vet care to save even more lives! Known for medical cases, we take in a lot of badly injured and extremely sick cats, kittens and dogs. We are fortunate to work very closely with our vets to save as many lives as we possibly can. We support our community by only taking in local animals, by hosting neuter clinics, providing a pet food pantry, TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) to help reduce the feral stray population, and adopting out our fully vetted animals. You can meet many of our adoptable pets in person at Greensburg PetSmart every Saturday from 12 pm-4 pm.
