Dr. Pepper's Story

Meet Dr. Pepper!

Dr. Pepper is a handsome male Shepherd mix born in late June 2026 who came to us from local animal control with his siblings. This sweet boy is ready to leave rescue life behind and start his next adventure with a family of his very own.

Dr. Pepper is a friendly, affectionate puppy who loves attention and cuddles. He is good with other dogs and cats and enjoys all the things you would expect from a puppy—playing, exploring, investigating everything around him, and having plenty of fun with his toys and friends. Once he's worn himself out, he's more than happy to settle in for some love.

Dr. Pepper is still a baby, which means his new family will be responsible for teaching him everything he needs to know. House training, crate training, leash walking, basic commands, socialization, and good manners will all take time, patience, and consistency. Puppies have accidents, chew things they shouldn't, make messes, and occasionally test your patience—but the work you put into them now helps shape the adult dogs they become.

As a Shepherd mix, Dr. Pepper will likely be an intelligent and active adult who will need regular exercise and mental stimulation in addition to affection. Training shouldn't end when puppyhood does. Continuing to challenge his brain, reinforce good manners, and include him in family activities will help keep him happy and well adjusted throughout his life.

Before applying, please make sure you're prepared for the full commitment of dog ownership. Dr. Pepper will depend on his family for quality food, routine veterinary care and preventatives, training, exercise, attention, and love for many years to come. Adopting a puppy means committing to the grown dog he'll become and keeping that commitment through moves, new jobs, relationships, children, vacations, and other changes life may bring.

Dr. Pepper has an entire lifetime ahead of him. We're looking for a family who is ready to put in the work during puppyhood and give him the security of knowing he'll never have to look for another home again.

If you're ready for puppy kisses, plenty of playtime, a little chaos, lots of learning, and years of companionship, Dr. Pepper is ready to meet you!

Adoption application can be found at this link- https://airtable.com/shrAznkHf1ruIqQwq
