Our Mission
Together We Rescue Detroit Animals is a Michigan-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue dedicated to saving dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia in the Detroit area. Through a network of compassionate foster homes, thorough medical care, and behavioral training, we prepare every animal not just for adoption — but for a lifetime of success in their forever home.
Adoption Policy
TWRDA adopts out dogs and cats through a simple process: application, intro call, meet and greet, and adoption agreement. We match animals based on lifestyle and compatibility — not checklists. No fenced yard, renters, and busy schedules are all welcome. Every adopted pet comes spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and vet checked. Adoption fees range from $150 for seniors to $350 for puppies and kittens, with adult dogs and cats at $200–$350.
