Our Mission

All Star Fur Pet has a mission to save stray, abandoned, shelter, and owner surrender dogs of all breeds and ages by placing them in qualified, caring, lifelong homes. We team up with volunteer Foster's to help these pets learn skills, socialization and everyday manners training. Applicants complete a basic Pre-Adoption Questionnaire and a few meetings, to see if their choice could be the right fit for their family. We are concerned with the long-term and according to its breed, will provide updated information on the best diet and daily care, physically and emotionally, for the new family member. We love what we do and hope to introduce you to our pack soon.

Adoption Policy

Potential Adopters are provided an online link or applicants can also request a (pdf) Pre-Adoption detailed questionnaire to be emailed, for manual completion and return. ASFP will ask for a short video of indoor areas where pets are welcome to hang out, have access to the outside yard (terrace, patio, balcony etc), fence perimeter, video of yard and gate. Phone contact is then made to discuss the questionnaire (family acceptance, nutrition, exercise, vetting etc) and a follow up email is sent with comments or recommendations. If acceptable to all concerned, an appointment is made to introduce our furpet to the person. If it is a good fit, we proceed to do a home check. When there are other family dogs, we may ask to do a meet and greet on neutral territory. When all processes are acceptable, a copy of the Adoption Contract is reviewed and established.
