BELLINI aka WINK

BELLINI aka WINK has been on quite the journey. As a stray, she was pregnant at the shelter with beautiful puppies, WINK was a good mama. BELLINI was tender, proud and a happy mother despite the pain of glaucoma in her left eye. Glaucoma increases pressure inside the eyeball, caused by insufficient drainage inside the eyeball (providing oxygen and nutrients to the eye). She had relief after her eye was removed, and fully recovered to be a sassy, loving husky we now call WINK. <br/><br/>BELLINI needs an athletic family to take her on hiking trails and beach walks. She likes to keep busy and enjoys a raw knuckle bone to chew on, or doggy treat puzzle to solve. She is smart and will learn to pack walk, the rescue will help the adopter to connect with a basic trainer. She is part husky and thrives in a social environment. BELLINI WINK will love getting cozy and cuddly inside with her family at night, then during the day hanging out in a yard, fetching and exploring, if secured with a high fence. Huskies can climb; the grass is greener on the other side.
