NOVA ABBY LEE's Story

NOVA LEE loves people and snuggly blankets, loves to play fetch, with basic training would make a great ESA companion who sticks like glue. German Shepherds are the notorious Velcro Dogs. NOVA LEE would be best suited with an active family; she is a working dog and wants to be in the middle of everything. Give her a puzzle to figure out. She loves food, being in the kitchen watching her food prepped but is learning her paws on the counter are not part of the meal deal. She thinks she's human. If you love shepherds and want a best friend, NOVA LEE may be the one. She gets along with other dogs when properly introduced, is smart and can learn just about anything you or a trainer has the patience to teach her. NOVA LEE is about 50lbs. To keep her well balanced, she should be socialized routinely.

If you are interested in NOVA LEE, we are accepting applications, email us at AllStarFurPetFoundation@gmail.com

Potential Adopters are provided an online link or applicants can also request a (pdf) Pre-Adoption detailed questionnaire to be emailed, for manual completion and return. ASFP will ask for a short video of indoor areas where pets are welcome to hang out, have access to the outside yard (terrace, patio, balcony etc), fence perimeter, video of yard and gate. Phone contact is then made to discuss the questionnaire (family acceptance, nutrition, exercise, vetting etc) and a follow up email is sent with comments or recommendations. If acceptable to all concerned, an appointment is made to introduce our furpet to the person. If it is a good fit, we proceed to do a home check. When there are other family dogs, we may ask to do a meet and greet on neutral territory. When all processes are acceptable, a copy of the Adoption Contract is reviewed and established.
