Lavender Horse Quarterhorse Quakertown, PA

Lavender is a cute ~15 year old pony who is easy to handle! She stands at 12 hands tall and Lavender has been in a program for the past 10 years where vet tech students got used to handling equines. She is beginner safe on the ground. Under saddle she can do lead line rides, and is sound at the walk. She is a friendly mare who enjoys being groomed and getting attention.
Medically, Lavender has Cushings and is on daily Prascend. She can get overheated in the summer time when temperatures and humidity are higher. We keep her body clipped during the summer and she should have access to a cool stall with lots of fans to help keep her comfortable. Lavender requires a dry lot and cannot go out on grass. She can be turned out with mares or geldings, and tends to be top of the pecking order in the field.

Equine placement fees range from $150 to $2000 depending on the age, training and abilities of the equine. The placement fee includes current vaccines, negative Coggins test, dental floating, de-worming and farrier trimming. All equine adopters must live within 3 hours of Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, PA.
